Check what an ATS and recruiter may miss in your CV.
Applicant tracking systems help employers organize applications, but there is no universal ATS score. A practical check should focus on readable structure, relevant terminology and evidence that connects your CV to the job description.

3samy reviews the CV together with the role rather than judging formatting in isolation.
- Standard, readable section structure
- Important terms repeated in the job description
- Exact terms and equivalent evidence
- Unsupported keywords that should not be added
- Gaps between responsibilities and measurable achievements
Keywords need evidence
Copying every keyword from a job description can make a CV less credible. Add a term only when your work, education or certification supports it, then show where and how you used it.
For example, writing stakeholder management is weaker than describing which stakeholders you supported and what outcome you delivered.
Keep the file easy to read
Use familiar headings, a clear reverse-chronological experience section and consistent dates. Avoid placing core experience inside decorative graphics that may be difficult to parse. Review the final document yourself before applying.
Before you start
Is there one official ATS score?
No. Employers use different systems and rules. 3samy provides an evidence-based comparison to guide improvement, not an official employer score.
Should I copy all keywords into my CV?
No. Use only accurate terms supported by your real experience. Unsupported keywords can damage credibility in an interview.
Are tables always rejected by ATS software?
Not always, but simple layouts reduce avoidable parsing risk. Keep essential experience and contact details in a clear text structure.
